écrin nail studio (“we”, “I”) operates ecrin-pressonnails.com. This policy explains what personal information is collected when you visit or buy from this shop, how it is used, and the choices you have.

• Order details — name, shipping address, email address and, where relevant, phone number.
• Nail measurements and design preferences — the sizes, shape, length and reference images you send so that a set can be made for you.
• Messages — the content of emails or Instagram direct messages you send us.

• Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, referring page and approximate region, used only to understand how the shop is used.

2. How the information is used

• To make, package and ship your order, and to keep you updated on its progress.
• To confirm sizing and obtain your approval of a design before production begins.
• To answer your questions and provide after-sales support.
• To meet accounting, tax and customs obligations under Japanese law.

Your information is never sold, rented or traded. Marketing emails are only sent if you explicitly ask to receive them, and every such message includes an unsubscribe link.

3. Sharing with third parties

Personal information is shared only where it is necessary to complete your order:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• Japan Post and destination postal carriers — name and address, to deliver your parcel.
• Zonos — for US-bound parcels, the declared value and recipient details required to prepay import duties.
• Customs authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

4. International transfers

This shop is operated from Japan. If you order from outside Japan, your information will be transferred to and processed in Japan, and shared with the carriers and customs authorities in your own country as needed to deliver the parcel.

5. Retention

Order records are kept for as long as required by Japanese tax and commercial law (currently seven years). Your nail measurements are kept so that repeat orders fit correctly — ask us at any time and they will be deleted.

6. Your rights
